Letter from the Recruitment Chair

Hey Everyone! 

I'm Jackie Van Dao and I am the Recruitment Director of Tri Sigma at VCU! Joining Tri Sigma has been one of the best decisions I've made since coming to VCU and I am so excited to help bring in new members to our amazing chapter. 

Since colonizing in 1991, our Epsilon Sigma Chapter has been nothing short of a group of strong women that share a special bond of sisterhood that lasts for not just four years, but for life. It makes me so happy and excited to meet young women interested in finding their "home away from home" and leaving their mark on this campus. 

Going to school everyday is never boring because Tri Sigma has such a large presence on the VCU campus and we strive to constantly look for more ways to build that presence throughout the community while staying true to our values of Wisdom, Power, Faith, Hope, and Love. 

"To receive much you must give much" is driving motto that reminds our sisters that the more you give to the chapter the more it will give back to you in amazing and unexpected ways!

The recruitment process is long but trust me when I say it is totally worth it because once you've found your home, all you're gonna want to do dive right in. Trust the system, trust yourself and have fun!
